Sonia has been teaching since she was 16 years old.  she started as a swimming teacher and then when she obtained her teaching degree she moved on to teaching music, English and Drama in schools.

At the begining of 2010 she moved into her outdoor music studio, where 'carousel'  began.

Although she had been a music teacher for years,  this was a new venture for her to finally do things as she had planned and run her own music school.

Sonia has always believed that it is not enough to just teach,  you need to lead by example and perform yourself, and get thoroughly involved, it is then that you can truly pass on the essence of being a performer and musician.   She regularly entertains at local perforrmances,  singing and playing the piano.
